Time To Listen Course
The TTL course provides hockey specific training for Welfare Officers and those with a designated welfare role. Club First accredited clubs and those working towards the award should ensure that their Welfare Officers have attended the course as it is a criteria for attaining certification.

Please see below information regarding the Spartan Goalkeepers Camps running in February half term for people aged between 10 and 17 – the one running at Highfields is on Tuesday 14th February, 10am – 4pm

MT13 – February Clinic
2011 saw our best year ever with over 1100 children attending clinics. My aim during 2012 is to provide an even better experience for the children and therefore at least match that figure if not better it!!!!!
We have changed a few things around for the clinics in 2012. The MT13 Strip will remain the same but there will a new T Shirt on offer as prizes and also each clinic will have 3 sticks for players to compete for; Introductory, intermediate and advanced level (all adidas) so that players feel as though they have a chance to win no matter where they sit ability wise.
Playing as Nations against Nations will continue as that proved a massive success at the Christmas clinic, with the winning nation receiving a prize for each member

Thursday 16th & Friday 17th Feb 2012
10am till 4pm
Highfields Sports Club (Beeston Hockey Club)
The Clinic Contents will include:
- Hitting into the Speed Gun; see how hitting speed compares across the group
- 3D Skills over the MT13 Skill Hurdles
- MT13 Deflection Ramps
- Penalty Stroke competition
- Using the Drag Flick Launch Pad to improve players ability within this department
- Mastering Core Skills
- Fun Games to improve players ability to understand and implement tactical considerations
- Of course Specialist GK Coaching will be available as per usual
